Auto-Die Design

AI-driven engineering for automotive forming.

An engineering platform that helps manufacturers develop manufacturable sheet-metal components through closed-loop design, simulation and optimisation.

In automotive stamping and forming, geometry quality and manufacturability are inseparable. Small changes in curvature, flanges, fillets or blank definition can determine whether a part forms cleanly — or fails under thinning, wrinkling, cracking or springback.

Today, that work still depends on long sequences of CAD edits and CAE iterations. Engineers propose a change, wait for simulation, interpret the result, then revise again. Expertise is essential, but the loop is slow and difficult to scale across programmes.

Auto-Die Design places intelligence inside that loop. It converts CAD geometry into engineering-aware features, reasons over simulation outcomes and manufacturability constraints, and proposes controlled geometry modifications for the next iteration — with the engineer remaining in command of objectives and decisions.

01

Geometry understanding

Interpret B-Rep structure and surface topology as engineering features such as fillets, flanges, trim lines and blank boundaries.

02

Forming-aware reasoning

Use simulation signals — strain, thinning, wrinkling, cracking and springback — as inputs to the next design decision.

03

Controlled modification

Propose changes on constrained engineering parameters rather than unconstrained freeform CAD generation.

04

Closed-loop iteration

Connect objective, geometry, simulation, evaluation and optimisation into one continuous engineering workflow.

Traditional development

  • Manual CAD revision cycles
  • Disconnected simulation feedback
  • Experience-dependent interpretation
  • Slow iteration between design and CAE

With Auto-Die Design

  • Engineering-feature representation of geometry
  • Simulation-informed design proposals
  • Constraint-led optimisation
  • Faster, more structured design–simulate loops

Auto-Die Design workflow

From design intent to manufacturable geometry.

Auto-Die Design connects engineering objectives, CAD geometry, feature intelligence, simulation and optimisation in one continuous loop — returning each result into the next geometry modification.
